Privacy Policy

Application and Developer Information

The terms set out in this Privacy Policy apply solely to BuzzCam, a mobile app offered on Google Play. Developper app is the sole owner and operator of the app, and any references to "we" or "our" within this document point to that entity. For users who install BuzzCam via Google Play, this policy defines the handling of your data---covering collection, usage, storage, and disclosure---while you interact with the app.

Workflow Outline

User-Initiated Cloud Processing

BuzzCam provides certain AI-powered editing, enhancement, and rendering features through secure cloud processing. Cloud processing is performed only when you intentionally use a feature that requires server-side computation.

When Uploads Occur

Media content---including pictures, video clips, or other files---is only sent to our protected servers after you have actively selected a function that relies on remote computing and have expressly initiated the operation. The app never performs uploads on its own, in the background, or without your direct involvement. A visible prompt is shown before each upload to confirm that server-side processing is necessary.

Storage Period and Removal

Submitted media is kept solely for the duration needed to fulfill your processing request. Once the operation finishes, both the original files and any generated outputs are automatically and permanently purged from our systems within 72 hours. Developper app does not keep backup copies of your media, nor does it employ your data for promotional activities, machine learning, user analysis, or any other unrelated purposes.

Protection

All incoming and outgoing file exchanges are safeguarded using TLS, a recognized encryption standard. Only the automated pipelines and critical infrastructure elements required for processing your request are permitted to access uploaded materials.

Content Feedback

Our AI system is tuned with care to deliver suitable outputs, but individual sensibilities can differ. Should you encounter content that you find objectionable or unsuitable, we encourage you to report it via mouhcine.rafi2030@gmail.com. We will act on your report without delay, and your observations are valuable in helping us fine-tune the system over time.

Data We Gather

  1. Platform Interaction Data
BuzzCam may collect information about your activities on our platform---such as pages viewed, items clicked, files downloaded, content shared, video edits performed, and other inputs you provide. This enables us to deliver the platform's functionalities to you.
  2. Device and Operational Logs
To maintain stable and secure performance, improve user experience, enable advertising and messaging, and safeguard your account, we capture certain technical details when you use our services. These include: unique device ID, GAID, device model, system language, country, advertising identifier, OS and version, IP address, app version, network type and quality indicators, and service logs.
  3. Feedback and Support Data
When you contact us for help or to share feedback, we collect the content you submit along with your contact information (such as phone number and email address). This enables us to respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
  4. Facial Recognition Data
When you utilize face-based editing or synthesis tools, we automatically identify the position and structure of your facial features to perform the necessary analysis for image processing. The resulting outputs are then delivered to you. We do not retain the original photos, videos, facial data, or generated renderings, nor do we share them with any third party. This processing serves exclusively to support the face recognition function and enhance your results. If your edits involve another person's facial features, you are responsible for notifying that individual and securing their consent.
  5. Cloud Processing
To facilitate rapid and accurate image or video manipulation, we may temporarily transmit your files or associated metadata to a cloud server for effect generation. These transfers are used solely for the specific task you initiate. We do not hold onto the materials, tags, or related data beyond what is strictly necessary, nor do we repurpose them or disclose them to third parties.

System Permissions

To deliver better products, streamlined services, and an enhanced user journey, we may request certain device permissions when offering extra features. With your approval and in line with a minimum-data approach, we may utilize the following access rights and the information they provide:

Data connected to these permissions is regarded as sensitive. Refusing a permission merely limits the functionality that depends on it---other app features remain fully usable. You can always check your permission status through your device's system preferences and have the flexibility to turn each permission on or off at your discretion.

By granting a permission, you consent to our collection and use of related personal information exclusively for that service. If you later disable it, your prior consent is revoked, and we will stop any collection or use of information derived from that permission moving forward. Nevertheless, disabling a permission does not retroactively affect data already collected or used while it was enabled.

Third-Party SDKs and Providers

To enable core functionality, perform analytics, and facilitate in-app purchases, BuzzCam incorporates several third-party software development kits (SDKs). Each SDK may access and process certain device and usage information as detailed below. All such processing occurs only after you have accepted this Privacy Policy.

  1. AppsFlyer (AppsFlyer Ltd.)
Purpose: Attribution tracking, marketing analytics, and campaign evaluation.
Data accessed: Device IDs (Android ID, Google Advertising ID), IP address, install source, conversion events, and in-app behavior. This helps us understand how you found our app and refine our promotional efforts.
  2. Google Play Billing (Google LLC)
Purpose: Managing in-app purchases and subscription payments.
Data accessed: Purchase details, transaction records, and order numbers. We do not store or view your complete payment card information; all financial data is handled directly by Google Play.
  3. Google Install Referrer (Google LLC)
Purpose: Identifying the source that directed you to install the app.
Data accessed: Referrer information (e.g., campaign or ad source) and installation timestamp. This is used solely for attribution analysis.
  4. Google Ads Identifier & AppSet ID (Google LLC)
Purpose: Supplying anonymized identifiers for analytics and ad measurement.
Data accessed: Google Advertising ID (AAID) and AppSet ID. You may reset or restrict these identifiers at any time through your device settings.
  5. Google Sign-In (Google LLC)
Purpose: Enabling login via Google accounts.
Data accessed: Only when you actively choose to sign in, we receive basic profile information (name and email) from your Google account. No data is collected passively.
  6. Functional Libraries (No Data Collection)
The following tools are used exclusively for technical operations---including networking, image rendering, media playback, local data storage, and background task management. They do not collect, transmit, or process any personal data: Retrofit & OkHttp, Glide, ExoPlayer, DataStore, WorkManager, and Hilt.

Usage Analytics

We gather and study data to continually refine our offerings and user satisfaction. The information is processed at a summarized level, helping us spot behavioral patterns and drive development decisions. These aggregated findings may be disclosed to our related entities, agents, and commercial partners for purposes including investigation, feature advancement, and business forecasting. Please be aware that this data is fully de-identified and cannot be traced back to you or any individual user.

How Your Personal Data Is Used

We may use the information you provide, in accordance with this policy, to deliver our services or to communicate with you. Specific purposes include the following:

  1. Service Improvement
Your data supports the creation, operation, delivery, and ongoing enhancement of our offerings. For instance, by analyzing user interactions, we can keep the platform straightforward and user-friendly.
  2. Safety Functions
We employ your information to preserve account integrity and network security, protecting the service for all users. This may involve automated review of uploaded materials for potentially prohibited content. Your data may also be utilized for fraud prevention, user support, and related protective actions.
  3. Essential Notifications
We use your information to send you critical alerts---such as account status updates or changes to our terms, policies, and agreements.
  4. Legal Compliance
We retain and process your information as required to fulfill our legal duties. This may include recording, auditing, analyzing, or otherwise handling your data in accordance with applicable laws, including in urgent situations.

Available User Choices

You have several ways to minimize data collection:

Your Data Deletion Rights

While you are using our app, you maintain complete control over your personal information and may erase stored records at any moment. BuzzCam are dedicated to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring that data removal is straightforward. You can clear your usage history and other saved content through the app's settings panel. Additionally, removing the application from your device will automatically delete all data stored locally. Please note that once information is deleted, it cannot be recovered. If you have any questions about your deletion rights, please contact our support team for assistance.

Tracking Technologies

Like many online services, we use cookies, pixel tags, and comparable mechanisms. Cookies are small data records stored on your drive or device memory, retaining information about your activity---enabling authentication, preference storage, usage analysis, ad measurement, and social functionality. Web beacons are tiny code fragments on webpages or in emails that help us understand your interaction with that content.

Most browsers automatically accept cookies. You can typically modify your browser settings to delete or block them, but doing so may affect service functionality.

We utilize third-party analytical tools to track traffic and behavioral patterns. These collect device-sent or service-generated data---including visited pages, used add-ons, and other inputs---to support service improvements. This data is aggregated with others' data in a way that does not personally identify you.

We also work with third-party advertising partners to serve ads across various channels. To measure effectiveness and calculate payments, we integrate third-party components into our applications. These components may also help us better understand user interaction with our services.

How Long We Keep Your Personal Information

We retain your personal data for a period of 48 months. We may keep and use your information as necessary to fulfill legal obligations (for example, complying with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements and policies.

We also retain Usage Data for internal analytical purposes. This type of data is generally kept for a shorter duration unless it is needed to enhance security, improve our Service functionality, or we are legally required to retain it for a longer period.

Data Disclosure

We do not sell or lease your personal information to outside parties. The SDKs mentioned above share data exclusively with their respective providers for the specified purposes, and we contractually obligate them to handle data in compliance with applicable privacy regulations.

How Your Information Is Shared

Developper app does not sell, rent, or exchange your personal data with any third party. We disclose personal information solely when required to deliver the services you request, operate and maintain BuzzCam, process transactions, comply with relevant laws, or safeguard our legal interests and the security of our platform.

External Service Providers

To support BuzzCam's core functionality, we partner with carefully vetted external service providers. These partners assist with user authentication, payment handling, analytics, install attribution, cloud hosting, fraud detection, and application performance monitoring.

Depending on the feature you use, these providers may process limited categories of information, including:

All third-party vendors process personal information solely for the purpose of fulfilling the tasks we assign to them, consistent with their own privacy terms and applicable legislation. We strictly forbid them from repurposing your data for any independent promotional or marketing efforts.

AI Media Handling

When you choose to submit photos, videos, or other files for AI-driven processing, that material is used exclusively to deliver the output you have requested.

Your submitted materials are never sold, sublicensed, or shared with outside parties for promotional purposes, user profiling, or training broad AI systems. Media is processed solely in connection with your active request and is automatically erased in accordance with the retention timeline set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Compelled Disclosure

We reserve the right to disclose your personal information solely when we consider it necessary to:

Corporate Transactions

Should BuzzCam or Developper app become party to a merger, acquisition, restructuring, funding round, asset sale, or similar business event, your personal data may be transferred as part of that process.

In such instances, the receiving party will be obligated to safeguard your information under privacy standards that are materially comparable to those set out in this Privacy Policy, and in compliance with relevant data protection laws.

Security Measures

We take the protection of your personal information seriously. To prevent unauthorized access, exposure, or other threats, we have established reasonable physical, technical, and administrative controls for data collected through your use of our Platform. We are dedicated to doing everything we can to secure your information.

Our security practices are regularly assessed and adjusted to keep pace with operational changes, technological progress, and regulatory updates. These safeguards include technical and organizational policies, access restrictions, and employee training initiatives.

While we prioritize data protection, please be aware that no method of online transmission or electronic storage is completely risk-free. Although we apply industry-standard measures to protect your personal data, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Should we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law. By using the Platform, you consent to receive such notifications electronically.

We process your personal data in line with relevant privacy legislation, including GDPR. Based on the specific context, we rely on one or more of the following grounds:

  1. Legitimate Business Purposes
We may process certain non-sensitive data in support of legitimate objectives, such as:
    • Enhancing service performance and user satisfaction.
    • Maintaining system security and operational stability.
    • Studying usage patterns to inform future enhancements.
Where this basis applies, we conduct a careful assessment to ensure your rights are not outweighed.
  2. Statutory Duties
We are sometimes required to process your data to comply with legal mandates---such as tax, accounting, or regulatory reporting.
